Self-service deletion
If you have an active Postwave account, the fastest way to delete your data is to use the built-in account deletion feature:
- Sign in to Postwave.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Click Delete my account.
- Confirm the deletion.
Before you can delete your account, you must first delete any workspaces you own. You can do this from Settings → Workspace. This protects other team members from losing shared data unexpectedly.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to your account, or prefer to have us handle it, email us and we will process your request:
Please include your registered email address so we can verify your identity.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your authentication account and profile information.
- Workspaces you own, including all posts, media, and insights within them.
- Your workspace memberships in other teams.
- Posts you created in workspaces owned by others.
- Instagram and Google Drive connection tokens you authorized.
Data created by other members in workspaces they own will remain. Anonymous analytics and security logs may be retained for up to 90 days as required by law or for abuse prevention.
Timeline
Self-service deletions are processed immediately. Email requests are typically completed within 30 days, and we will confirm by email once finished.
Revoking third-party access
You can also revoke Postwave's access to your connected accounts directly from the platform:
- Instagram / Meta: Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites and remove Postwave.
- Google Drive: Go to Google Account → Security → Third-party apps and revoke Postwave.
